Charlotte Torlo has been announced as Town Hall and Symphony Hall’s new Commercial Manager. Joining the company on 15 January 2008 Charlotte will be dealing with all the private functions that come to Town Hall including dinners, wedding receptions, conferences, exhibitions, drinks receptions, awards ceremonies or any event where Town Hall is contracted out for invited guests only.

Charlotte began her career in Events at the NIA and then at the NEC where she was a Customer Co-coordinator for the Technical Operations department. Charlotte says, “I then wanted to build on my customer facing experience and took the opportunity to work at the ICC as an Event Manager. This was a fantastic training ground for this role. I am also a qualified journalist, which can come in handy sometimes!”

Charlotte is really looking forward to exploring the possibilities of Town Hall in terms of the type of events that can be held there. “Every event that takes place raises the bar for utlising the space in different and creative ways. It is very exciting to be part of the team that is putting Town Hall through its paces with such a wide range of future events scheduled.”

Town Hall can offer a completely unique event experience right in the heart of the country and Birmingham city centre. The venue is now equipped with the latest facilities and provides the perfect backdrop to ‘wow’ your guests or clients.
