David Cameron chose Symphony Hall as the venue for his Leader’s speech, closing the Conservative Party conference at Birmingham’s ICC. Reporting on the conference in The Times, Matthew Parris complimented the City, adding that Symphony Hall is “a modern wonder and one of the finest auditoriums I’ve seen in Britain.” Over the four days of the conference, the ICC welcomed 13,000 delegates.
